It's that time of year again ... almost spring ... Trees are sprouting leaf buds and the birds are chirping; and at the club, white envelopes are sprouting 50/50 ticket stubs all the while the spring breeze echoes Bill Beachell’s clarion call to "Sell your tickets!"  This year, as is everything else, it's a bit different. We are working with the District to sell 50/50 tickets.  It's a larger pot, more prizes, and they are doing much of the work pulling it together.  Our only obligation is to sell 500 tickets.   The proceeds from our sales go directly to beef up the pot of money in the Foundation that we use for the Giving Budget.  In short, it's a win/win.  All members have received an email informing them that this year there is a requirement to sell a minimum of 5 tickets.  Here are the selling instructions:
1) If you only want to buy the tickets for yourself and you haven't done so already, send an email to Zoltan and Paulmichaelblodgett@gmail.com with the words "Put it in my Dues."  You can purchase as many tickets as you'd like for yourself this way...Good Luck!

2) If you are selling to others, please send an email requesting the estimated number of tickets you will sell.  You can return any unsold tickets (less the required 5) to Paul by May 1.

3) Collecting Money from buyers --  When you sell tickets to others you can accept cash, a check made out to yourself, a check made out to "Rotary Club of Montgomery/Rocky Hill" , or they can send money electronically (Venmo/Paypal/etc.) to YOUR payment account (non-member buyers must not send money directly to the club's Venmo).  You will be responsible for filling out the buyer's details and getting them their stubs.

4)  Settling with the club - All tickets must be returned by May 1st along with payment either by (a) mailing them to Paul's house 161 Berkley Ave (b) Dropping them off at Princeton Fitness and Wellness (in an envelope c/o: MRH Rotary/Tony Parziale) (c) making some other arrangement with Paul - he is willing to pick them up from you.  You can send one payment for sold tickets to the club's Venmo if you also send a picture of the Venmo payment to Paul.

Thanks for your help - now go sell tickets! - Chirp-Chirp."
