The Flags For Heroes display is now up in front of Montgomery High School - check it out!!!
The Rotary Club of Montgomery/Rocky Hill invites you to visit the Flags for Heroes on display from Saturday, June 12 through Sunday, June 20, along Route 601, in front of Montgomery High School, Skillman, NJ
Flags for Heroes is designed to honor the many heroes in our lives – first-responders, veterans, healthcare workers, essential workers – anyone who has made a positive impact or deserves recognition. The flags stand as a reminder to all to participate in kindness and service to others.
Bring your families to walk among the 240 flags, read the personalized medallions on each flag.
Josh Turner, Chair of the Montgomery/Rocky Hill Rotary’s Flags for Heroes describing the project says, “Flags for Heroes gives us the opportunity to recognize the importance of others' selfless contributions and to be thankful for the impact they have made.
"It is my hope that when people stop and think about what others have done for them, their communities, our nation, or the world, it will inspire them to emulate their heroes, better themselves and make a difference in the lives of others.”
To find the flag you sponsored, look for the large sign listing each of the honorees in alphabetical order, with a corresponding number. The flags are arranged in the same order, with honoree name and corresponding number on each flag's medallion/tag.
THANK YOU to all of our sponsors! The funds raised from the Flags for Heroes event will allow the Rotary Club of Montgomery/Rocky Hill to continue its service to the community and the world.
