This Week's Meeting 2/11
Due to the spike in local coronavirus cases, the Board has decided to suspend in-person meetings through the end of March.  We will be meeting Thursday 7:30AM on Zoom and an email will go out to members with the link prior to the meeting.   Our speaker this week will be Merle Johnson from Impact 100 Garden State.
Rotary 2021-22
Drumroll, please....  Rotary International has unveiled its theme for the next year.
Scribe Needed!
Do you know how to listen?  Do you know how to write?  Do you show up to meetings?  If you answered yes to all these questions, then you have what it takes to be a scribe for our club.  We need one for this upcoming meeting and every 4 weeks thereafter.  As an added inducement, we will pay a raw inexperienced fledgling scribe the same rate as our grizzled veterans.  The scribe duties are found at the bottom of this very publication.  Any questions, ask Sharon Prosinski.
Letters To Community Seniors

In conjunction with our High School Interact students our Rotarians are welcome to create a letter, note, poem, or artistic work that will be given to a senior citizen living in our community. Each should be in an individual envelope. These letters will be collected by Sharon Prosinksi on  Feb 12, 19, and 26 at your home if you request a pick up. They will then go out to our seniors through the Senior Center along with their pick up of lunches and delivered to Stonebridge residents. A list of other seniors that could use a positive connection is being searched out.

In addition you are welcome to include a return addressed envelope with a stamp as well if you wish to offer a potential return communication. This step is not required.  This project could continue into March based on response. Hope your winter joys can be shared through a note of support.

Women In Rotary Forum
District 7475 Rotary Business Network will be hosting a zone-wide forum on Wednesday 2/17 at 7PM via Zoom.   The conversation will be focused on "How to Empower Women to Move Forward in Rotary Leadership Roles".  The featured speaker will be RI Director Valarie Wafer.   All Rotarians (men or women) are invited to attend.  To register, click HERE
Welcome To Town
Check out the new flyer that was included in the "welcome bags" given to all new residents by the Montgomery Business Association.  Thank you to our Public Relations Chairperson Beth Desai for overseeing this process and special thanks to Maria Kauzmann for the outstanding flyer design.   And, of course, thanks to Cory Wingerter who suggested the idea.  If you have any suggestions to help publicize our club, please let Beth know.

ClubRunner Pro Tip #43
Does it gnaw at you that you can't name verbatim every Paul Harris Fellow honored by our club since 1991?  Well, help is here.  Simply hop onto the website and look for Paul Harris Fellow under About Us on the top menu. Problem solved.
PM: 50/50 Equals 100%
While the ongoing pandemic has forced the cancellation of this year’s Run With Rotary, we are still plowing ahead with the 50/50 raffle this spring.  However, things will be a little different than in years past.   For starters, we are not running this raffle on our own but as a part of the clubs that make up our Rotary District 7475.  The tickets are priced at $20 each and the drawing will be held at the Raritan Valley Country Club on May 27th. Because of the combined size of all the clubs involved and the number of tickets expected to be sold, the prizes will be fairly high.
