My mother passed away last Friday just a few weeks short of her 96th birthday. Though she had been in declining health over the last few years and lived a long full life, it’s still a bit of a shock to realize that she won’t be there anymore. She’s always been there and now she’s not. The funeral is being held this Thursday morning, so I won’t be at Rotary this week. In my absence, Vice President For Life Doug Merritt will be running the meeting. Please laugh at his jokes.
